Objective of the Paper: To present а clinical case of early diagnosis of autoimmune epilepsy with positive clinical outcome.

Key Points: The article is devoted to a topical problem of the modern neurology — autoimmune epilepsy. The basic concepts and clinical case of early diagnosis of autoimmune epilepsy with autoimmune limbic encephalitis are described.

Conclusion: Early diagnosis of autoimmune epilepsy is crucial because timely initiation of antiepileptic therapy, immunosuppressive treatment increases the likelihood of achieving remission of the disease, or reduces the frequency and severity of epileptic seizures.
